Science Communication (Sci Comm)

From the winter term 2024/25 onwards the Language Center will offer a new program in Science Communication (Sci Comm) for students, researchers, instructors as well as for administrative and management staff of the University of Stuttgart.

The Language Center's new program in Science Communication (Sci Comm) is designed to assist students (both undergraduate and graduate), researchers, instructors as well as administrative and management staff with communicating and promoting their research ideas, proposals, projects and results to lay people (i.e. non-experts) in order to reach a wider audience and transfer ideas to society as a whole. In this multidisciplinary program, participants can join one short course or many.

A variety of short courses will take place every semester either in person or online via WebEx. Please check the respective format of each short course. The workload for one short course is three hours.

For more information on Sci Comm and the complete short course program, please follow the link to ILIAS.
